As fully accredited holders of ISO45001, SAFEContractor and CHAS, Crystal Clear is fully compliant with all Health & Safety legislation and we are proud to be members of the Federation of Window Cleaners trade association. We are also SSIP accredited, which is a mutual recognition across all occupational health and safety standards

Health & Safety is of absolute paramount importance to Crystal Clear. We believe this is one of the reasons why we are one of the nation’s leading companies in the Window Cleaning and Support Services Industry. We have achieved this by correctly training our operatives and embracing new technologies and techniques, allowing us to offer safer, more environmentally aware services at very competitive prices.

We always conduct site specific risk assessments and provide our clients with method statements to ensure an uninterrupted service and so that you know we are meeting our legal obligations.

IOSH qualified health and safety managers have developed our unique training program which uses their qualification and many years industry experience to implement the best training available in house.

On employment, all operatives will experience the in house training program. This will be repeated at least every two years regardless of experience and they will also sit various tool box talks throughout the year.

External trainers are also used to enhance the operatives knowledge and qualifications, some of these are; Federation Of Window Cleaners, IPAF, IRATA, PASMA, Harness Training, Working at Height and IOSH.

Our equipment is regularly inspected to ensure that it is in perfect working order. A weekly log for ladders, vehicles, reach & wash equipment, jet washes and ally towers, to name but a few, is kept to ensure that all inspections have been carried out and will be countersigned at regular intervals by our health & safety manager. This fundamental routine puts less strain on all of our team and ensures that you receive the best possible results.

All of our vehicles are equipped with standard safety tools and their use is considered obligatory by our site operatives. We pride ourselves in knowing that every necessary precaution is taken to ensure that both you and those using your sites are kept safe.
